Kimberly's vision of generating the most memorable vacation for others, while simultaneously providing exceptional property management, came to life when various homeowners hired Kimberly to rent their homes to other families who wish to experience sunny San Diego.

Established in 2010, Vacation Rentals by Kimberly, LLC has become the preeminent Southern California property management company in San Diego. As a full-time mother, businesswoman and traveler, Kimberly continues to make the dream vacation a reality for families every day.

Creating a comfortable space for travelers comes naturally to Kimberly, as she expects the same service when she vacations. Kimberly and her 3 boys love to travel when school is out, soak in the sunshine, and surf the ocean waves. They spend most of their free time exploring the great outdoors and they live full-time at the beach in Del Mar, CA.

KIMBERLY JACKSON

Founder & Owner

With over 12 years of management experience, Kimberly Jackson is a sales professional and the founder and owner of Vacation Rentals by Kimberly. A native San Diegan and Humbolt State graduate, Kimberly treats every guest like a member of her own family. Her hard work and dedication to each booking is proof of her commitment. From start to finish she makes the vacation rental process as fun, stress-free, and financially beneficial for her guests as possible. When she isn’t booking a deal you can find this powerhouse single momma, surfing with her 3 sons, boxing at the gym and supporting local businesses and schools.

HUGH EDWARD TERRELL

Real Estate Broker

Cal RE Broker License #00448899, Expires August 25, 2022 In the late 1970’s, I owned and operated Pemberton & Associates, a 22-person residential real estate brokerage located in La Jolla, CA. In the 80’s I sold Pemberton and moved into a commercial real estate with the Grubb & Ellis Company, San Diego, CA, buying and selling mobile home parks throughout the Western United States. While at Grubb & Ellis I was appointed Managing Senior Director of George Smith/Grubb & Ellis Financial Services, commercial mortgage loan brokers. I retired from George Smith/Grubb & Ellis in the mid 90’s.
I have retained my California Real Estate Broker’s license, and for Vacation Rentals By Kimberly, I head the Long Term Leases Division. I am a graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, graduating with a BA in Social Sciences in 1966. In 1968 I received my Master’s Degree from Indiana State University, in Behavioral Psychology, and finally, in 1976, I received my Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology from Cal-Western University.

JESSICA SOLANO PERRY

Operations Manager

Jessica grew up in beautiful Oceanside California. She has worked in the hospitality industry for 6 years starting as a Guest Services Agent at the Holiday Inn Express in Solana Beach. She later moved up into the Front Office Manager role for brands like Staybridge, Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express, and Wyndham, using her organizational skills to lead teams to success. She currently resides in Carmel Valley. She enjoys playing classical music on her flute, swimming, traveling and supporting humanitarian causes are just a few things she likes to do when she’s not serving her guests.

TERRI MATTHEWS

Director of Guest Services

Terri grew up in San Marcos and has been living in Oceanside for 25 years. She has 20 years of customer service and administrative experience working in the restaurant industry. Her longevity in this field has taught her strong leadership skills, patience, the ability to adapt to change and create long-lasting relationships with customers. She is dedicated to bringing that same service to our owners and guests. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her daughter, hiking, and gardening.

JASMINE COOPER

Reservations Manager

Originally from the Maryland/ DC area, Jasmine first moved to San Diego in 2019. Graduating from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2010 with a degree in Business Management, she first started her career in the restaurant management field. Using the skills she obtained in the restaurant management field she delivers top-notch customer service that goes above and beyond expectations. She currently resides near downtown San Diego and in her spare time, she loves to take her 2 doggies on walks in the park, seeking out new restaurants, and generally enjoying life!

BRANDY PARKERSON

Reservations Specialist

Brandy has lived throughout Southern California for most of her life. She spent 27 years working in the restaurant industry, honing her customer service and management skills. She is passionate about working with and helping people and her experience has taught her to approach every situation with positivity and calm. She shares 3 children with her husband of 25 years and enjoys hiking, traveling, and photography.

KYLIE CASTRO

Guest Experience Specialist

Kylie was born in El Centro, CA and has lived in Oceanside, CA since 2003. Her customer service background comes from serving at many local restaurants and cafes around the area. She joined the hospitality industry as a front desk agent at a Hilton Grand Vacations Club in Carlsbad, CA. The industry has taught her the importance of effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. Over the years, she has gained a drive to exceed guests’ expectations and thoroughly enjoys creating a positive guest experience every step of the way. In her free time, she enjoys sunsets on the beach, hiking, and spending time with family.

MADISON CALLAWAY

Guest Services

Madison grew up in Lake Arrowhead, CA and has been living in San Diego, CA for 5 years. After attending California State University San Marcos, she began her career in the hospitality industry at a local vacation rental company in San Diego. Her experience thus far has taught her the importance of patience, communication and time management. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs at the dog beach, playing tennis, and going to professional baseball games.

REMY HAYNES

Photographer

Originally from San Diego, Remy has eighteen years of experience in Commercial Photography specializing in advertising and branding for magazines, corporations, and top real estate firms. Remy brings her excellent lighting skills, her personal able attitude, and her creative touches to everything she photographs. Having many talents Remy photographs not only real estate but headshots, products, and lifestyle social media branding as well as writes for magazines. Having lived in both Seattle and Los Angeles Remy has a love of adventure and when she’s not working you can find her promoting her new book just published on Amazon called, “Carry Me Home.”

Cassie Eaton

Web & Graphic Designer

Originally from LA, Cassie Eaton is a dynamo of creativity. She graduated from The Art Institutes of Portland in 2000 with her BS in Graphic Design, followed by an exciting design internship with a local startup. After over 10 years serving as their Intern turned Senior Designer, handling the company’s most crucial print projects, she served as Art Director for Journey Gym. She now enjoys working with the VRBK team promoting the brand by creating graphic design concepts and development of web & print materials. When she is not busy marketing a new product line or designing a new logo suite, she loves dancing, re-decorating her home, and chasing the sunshine with her teenage daughter.
