Our neighbors on the west side of our home are doing some remodeling and have an extensive project. You may hear loud construction noise throughout your stay during the day.
During these unprecedented times, Vacation Rentals By Kimberly is determined to provide a safe and cleaned home to all of our guests. All of our homes are being professionally cleaned according to the CDC’s COVID-19 cleaning guidelines. We also provide a self check-in process.
The Salt Life... Ocean Living in Mission Beach is located in one of the best beach communities in all of San Diego; Mission Beach. This adorable beach home is situated just 4 houses from the beach volley ball courts and the Beach Boardwalk, which leads through Mission Beach and Pacific Beach. We are also VERY close to the jetty, where one can experience 1st class surfing! Our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home sleeps no more than 7 people, and it is in the heart of Mission Beach, within walking distance of local shops, eateries, nightlife, and the famous Roller Coaster!
Our home offers FREE street parking out front, by the private patio. We also have tandem parking spots for 2 in the back of the home. PLEASE NOTE: The parking spots are NARROW, if you car is WIDER than 6' 8" and LONGER than 31' 10," the cars will not fit. There is also other street parking and a large free parking lot near by.
The street view of our home greets you with a large outdoor patio. It has plenty of seating and a gas BBQ/grill. Leading to the front door you will find the outdoor shower and on site laundry. Upon entry you are welcomed into a very open living space with a full kitchen, living room with a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV, pull out full sized couch and spacious dining nook. There is also a kitchen bar with seating for 4 along the counter. This home is ideal for enjoying a sunny day, as the open floor plan leads out to the large outdoor fenced in private patio mentioned above. Please note this home does not have AC.
Down the hallway from the kitchen are two bedrooms and one bathroom with a tub. One bedroom has a full bed and one bedroom has a queen bed. Along the hallway there is also another open patio where we keep our beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys. Go up the spiral staircase to the master suite (we do have a baby gate to secure the staircase). The secluded bedroom has one king bed, a mounted flat screen TV, and lots of space and storage in the mirrored closets along the back wall. We keep a pack & play and high chair, for the little ones, in the closet. Off of the master bedroom is a private deck that overlooks the below private patio. There is not an ocean view from this balcony.
Off of the master bedroom there is a large bathroom. The bathroom has a double sink and newly renovated granite shower with dual shower heads on either side.

Please Note: Mission Beach is under a flight path so you can hear plane noise in the Mission area.
Please take note that this home is NOT baby and/or child proofed. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental.
We ask for quiet hours from 9pm to 9am. This home does not allow more than 7 people onsite at any given time, including visitors. No parties, gatherings, or pets, unless you pay $40 per pet, per night. There shall be no video, still photography, or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner. We do not write leases longer than 28 nights in length. If your stay is longer than 2 weeks, we may ask for an additional theft/damage deposit.
- A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty
(60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee.
- Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the
arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee).
- Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your
existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 60 days away, we do
charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.
