As you enter the front gate, you meet a private patio. This space is great for outdoor lounging, while still offering plenty of additional space to store your beach gear.
The front door opens to a light and airy open floor plan. The kitchen is brightly lit by the days sun, and opens up to the main living area. This large social space has plenty of seating, a flat screen tv and even an electric fireplace for a cozy night in. This area has two sets of double glass doors that open to the properties private outdoor space; one of which includes a fenced in dog runner that can also be used as an outdoor but enclosed play area for kids. (Please note: although this run is fenced, it does not offer secure fencing for larger dogs and pets are not to be left unattended at any time during your stay). The backyard offers plenty of shaded and full sun seating areas, a full size propane gas BBQ/grill and an additional patio umbrella if needed.
The master, located just north of the kitchen, is furnished with a king bed, plenty of closet space and a beautiful brightly sun lit bathroom. The all glass spacious shower also offers a luxury over-sized shower head. This master is perfectly placed on the opposite side of the house from the other three bedrooms. This allows for privacy when needed, and even includes a separate entrance leading to the outside.
The second bedroom offers a full size bed and full closet. This bedroom sits adjacent to the 2nd bathroom that also offers a full tub and shower combo. Just outside of the kitchen area, you’ll find our full sized washer and dryer. The 3rd bedroom offers a California king bed and a closet. The fourth bedroom is dressed in a sophisticated antique end table and queen framed bed. This bedroom also offers a closet.
Whether you're enjoying the morning sun from the quaint breakfast nook or preparing afternoon drinks and meat for the grill, the separate, second, additional kitchen space is highly utilized. Offering extra counter space and cabinet storage. This wet bar area also offers an additional full size refrigerator and sink.
The Sandpiper at 26th Street is not limited in space, with it’s open floor plan and private outdoor living area, offering both shade and full sun. No need to rent boogie boards either because we provide guests with 4 of them. We also offer beach chairs, and some additional guests recreational supplies.
Although we love for all of our guest to enjoy a successful and happy vacation while staying at The Sandpiper at 26th Street, Del Mar has a strict noise ordinance that all guest must comply with. There is a "no tolerance" policy for parties of any kind and at any hour, or loud noise from the hours of 9pm to 9am. This home also only allows 8 people max at all times, including visitors. We also allow no smoking onsite. Again, if you bring a dog, please never leave Fido unattended due to excessive barking and a call into code compliance. We sincerely appreciate your compliance.
Please note: This home does not have AC. There is a pet fee of $125 per pet. This property is single story, but it does have one single step at the entrance of the home and also at the other doors that lead into the home.
There shall be no video, still photography or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner.
CANCELLATIONS – A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee). Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 60 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.
