COVID-19 CANCELLATION POLICY
We are following the industry standard recommended guidelines for cancellations and refunds regarding the COVID-19 Virus. Bookings made prior to March 15th 2020, with an arrival date of May 31st 2020 qualify for a full refund. Outside of that, we are upholding our normal cancellation policy. By booking, you are acknowledging and agreeing to this, even in this ever evolving current climate. Thank you for your understanding.
La Jolla Sunshine is a beach oasis nestled in the quaint and exclusive town of La Jolla. You are walking distance to Bird Rock, which has an array of options for dining, yoga and local coffee joints. There are several beaches nearby including Tourmaline and the lesser-known local surf spot of Windansea. Just north you have La Jolla Village, which has amazing shopping and upscale dining.
Just steps from the beach, you hear the waves crashing behind you as you enter this hidden gem. The front door opens up to a spacious living room with a large wrap around couch that seats five comfortably. There is a fireplace, large flat screen Smart TV and a beautiful wooden piano for your enjoyment. The living room opens up to the dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. The dining room seats six with four additional seats at a comfortable kitchen island.
Right out back you have a fully fenced, beautifully manicured back yard with large trees throughout, artificial turf, and a grill for those summer nights.
As you move farther into the home you find two guest rooms, both with queen size beds and large windows looking out into the charming backyard.
Straight down the hall you have the master suite. This suite has a king size bed, flat screen TV, ample closet space and a private bathroom with a standing shower. The final bedroom in the back of the home has two twin beds, a kitchenette (fridge/sink), and opens up to a lovely semi covered patio that attached to the side yard full of trees and flowers. There is also a large queen size air mattress available for your use that brings the sleep count of this home to 10. There are two other full bathrooms with showers and bathtubs in the home. Two guest rooms share one full bath and the other is toward the front of the home. The house also features a full size washer and dryer on site for your convenience.
This home offers everything you could need for a beach getaway including bikes, surfboards, and sand toys. There is no garage access, but it has a notably long driveway with ample room to fit up to four cars. This property has two portable AC units-one in the living room and one in the back queen bed room.
Please note: We are doing some upgrades to the landscape so the current pictures of a grassy front lawn are not accurate. the home does not currently have grass in the front and it is under construction. There is continual work being done.
The city is conducting construction work on cul-de-sac where this home is located. You may hear some construction noise thru January of 2020.
We ask for quiet hours from 9pm to 9am. There is a pet fee of $125 per pet. If you bring furry friends, we ask that you do not allow them outside during quiet hours, as neighbors are very sensitive. Please do not leave your pets alone unattended during your stay. This home does not allow more than 10 people onsite at any given time, including visitors. No parties or gatherings please. There shall be no video, still photography or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner.
Please take note that this home is NOT baby and/or child proofed. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental.
CANCELLATIONS – A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee). Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 60 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.
